The data storage service allows the user to minimise operating costs of long-term storage and provides maximum possible protection for archived data for time periods significantly exceeding the lifetime of the specific technology. The service is scalable in order to cater to a wide range of users and to be able to react to their specific requirements, including connecting to their own data repositories.
Data repositories operate in 4 geographically separate locations (Plzeň, Jihlava, Brno, Ostrava) and boast a total capacity of 35+PB. Multiple back-ups and storage in multiple geographically separate locations are available for increased data redundancy. Object repositories are available for demanding applications. A long-term storage archive (LTP) with regular data fixity audits is availability for very valuable data.
